Your Three Gifts

three gifts

It is customary during this time of year, to consider and participate in the practice of gift giving.

Some say it’s due to religious teachings and the impact of major celebrations of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years, Yule, and etc. – others say the good cheer of the heart compensates for the shadowy light of a dwindling sun, and still others claim that its the abundance and expansiveness of Jupiter’s planetary influence. Whatever the reason that motivates people – this is what we hear commercially throughout the season.

Sometimes, it can be extremely difficult to get into the spirit of “gift giving” and “gift receiving” when the coffers are low, and our personal resources leave much to be desired – or so we think.

What We Really Possess

Actually, our personal resources are much more than what we think we have, or don’t have. Deep within each of us are treasures more valuable than any amount of wealth than we can imagine. Ancient writings speak to each of us as being the recipients of three mega-gifts at the time of our earthly incarnation.

Though placed in a world of illusions accompanied with the energy of fear, we were told that the “celestial gifts” that we have within us are sufficient to sustain us, and would help us meet every challenge. These gifts are: love, power, and a sound mind.

As with any gift, it has to be unwrapped and opened before you know what you have – tried on, and plugged in before you know how to operate it.

Unfortunately some of these “celestial gifts” still remain unopened (in their original packing) in people’s lives – as they journey searching for that which they already possess.

Many spend their lives looking and hoping for love, power, and soundness of mind – but have an unmeasured wealth – the treasure already within their grasp – and yet, are blind to its very existence.

Too much time has been spent on understanding and acquiring external things, while not enough time has been invested in understanding and uncovering the inner mystery within each of us. All Answers Lie Within!

If we would take time to discover and utilize those three mega gifts, we would find them each to be gifts that keep on giving – inexhaustible by nature, never running out and always producing a good work within our lives… and the lives of those whom we come in contact with.
