This is the last segment of a three part series on my recent ordeal, continuing from Physician Heal Thyself.
Let me continue:
Needless to say, my experience was quite traumatic – even though others have experienced worse. I’m grateful that it did not escalate to something more horrendous.
I’m glad to be home, in a familiar environment where the loving care of my beloved (Tonya K. Freeman) has played a important role in my recovery process. Here, I can now rest, recuperate, and give my body, mind and spirit space to heal.
Although, I am an alternative medicine practitioner – I do honor the thoroughness of allopathic medicine, with it’s dedicated doctors – nurses – and technical staff. They helped to move me from a severe crisis.
In my opinion, allopathy’s greatest performance is in emergency care, and diagnostic assessment. However, they still have much to learn about the role of nature in the healing process. Their lack of understanding of how the body works, and can heal itself with natural holistic substances without the reliance on dangerous synthetic pharmaceuticals remains a growing edge for them.
I have shunned all pharmaceutical drugs. I have spent 15+ years of life hamstring by countless synthetic concoctions which fell short of genuine healing.
My healing will pursue a wholesome course with natural substances, and modalities that have been proven to offer significant benefits for health and well-being.
Already, I, with the assistance of my favorite Medicine Woman (my beloved) and our Integrative Medicine Specialist – have established and executed an extensive protocol and daily regimen for my health. Adjustments will be made as necessary.
This is a slow uphill path for sure – I have no delusions about this. With time, patience, commitment and the knowledge that I will heal and fully recover – I already see the light at the end of the tunnel.
May you be inspired by my experience.
